Liljevik Farm
The Liljevik family farm is located in a stunning countryside setting by Lake Längelmävesi in Orivesi.
Since 2022, the farm has been managed by Sebastian and Iida Toukola with their family. Sebastian inherited the farm from his father Petri Toukola, who in turn managed it for almost 30 years.
Nowadays the farm’s primary sources of livelihood are plant cultivation, forestry and holiday accommodation services. The estate has about 170 hectares of arable land. There are two modern holiday villas available for booking.
Sebastian is a Doctor of Engineering as well as a versatile entrepreneur. He’s also an academic researcher and teacher alongside his work on the farm. Iida is finishing up her Business Studies in the University of Turku while working as an entrepreneur, offering horseback riding and beautician’s services. The family includes their young son Emil, and their daily routines are strongly centred around domestic life. The family are expecting another child, due to be born in the summer of 2026.

Our quality villas are located in the beautiful Orivesi countryside in Pirkanmaa, by the diverse Lake Längelmävesi. The lake is known for its great fishing spots, varied boating routes and enchanting summer destinations such as the Rönni dance pavilion. The tranquil lakeside setting and surrounding nature make for a perfect backdrop for a relaxing holiday all year round.
Icelandic Horses
Extraordinary experiences at the stables
The Liljevik Icelandic Horses offer unforgettable encounters with this unique indigenous breed in the gorgeous surroundings of Lake Längelmävesi in Orivesi. We offer guided horseback riding in small groups (2-3 people) or as individual lessons. The riding lessons are tailored according to the skill level and desires of the customer, without forgetting the weather.

Beauty Corner offers nail, eyelash and eyebrow treatments with almost ten years of experience and expertise. We aim for polished and beautiful results in a cozy and comfortable environment.
The salon is located in the main building, with its own private entrance. Customers have use of a restroom. You can also park your car right up by the door.

Buckethay
We also offer handy, easy-to-use hay dispensers to make feeding your horses easier than ever. The fully wireless dispensers provide set feeding times without you even having to be there. The dispensers work well both in the stables as well as the field shelter.

Liljevik's history
The history of the Liljevik family farm goes all the way back to the 16th century, and it’s been managed by the same family since the 19th century. The main building, nearly 150 years old, is reminiscent of the busy lives of bygone generations and the enduring legacy of the farm.
In the past, the farm’s primary sources of livelihood were plant cultivation, forestry and livestock farming. The barn, completed in 1901, was very large and progressive for its time – among other things, it boasted a contemporary milking machine.
The farm’s long history is also apparent in the chain of generations: its been managed by more than ten families so far.
